Lauren Sutton received her BFA in Theatre Performance with a Concentration in Acting and Directing for the Stage and Screen at George Mason University.
Lauren moved to New York City in August of 2021 and spent her first year as a Certified COVID Compliance Officer working backstage in numerous Broadway Theatres.
Lauren has a strong connection to heightened text, specifically Shakespeare, and enjoys branching out into modern plays, musicals, and physical performances. She has portrayed characters ranging from Hero and Hermia to the Duchess of Gloucester and a Mute.
Lauren seeks challenging roles and hopes to begin an MFA Acting program in the next few years to further her education.
When not performing, Lauren enjoys painting, designing theoretical sets + costumes, writing poetry, and exploring the outdoors.
